DISCOVER AREZZO - with a local guide 

In the heart of Tuscany lies Arezzo, town of beauty and good living. An important Etruscan city, known to the Romans as Arretium and a flourishing commune in the Middle Ages, it still preserves most of the medieval walls. Four valleys make up the territory of the province of Arezzo: the Casentino, the Valdarno, the Val di Chiana. 

These three valleys meet a few kilometers from Arezzo, in the Ponte Buriano area, a wonderful example of Romanesque architecture on the Arno. A masterpiece that captured even the attention of Leonardo da Vinci: it seems that this is the bridge that the great Renaissance genius paints on the background of his famous Mona Lisa.
